If you would rather not remember another password, sign in with an account you already use. The campus never sees your GitHub or Google password; it only receives your name and email to create or recognise your account.
Scroll down to the last block, Or continue with, and click Github or Google.
You are taken to the GitHub or Google screen. If you are already signed in there, just confirm. Otherwise, enter your credentials there.
Agree to share your name and email with Librería de Satoshi.
You come back to the campus, signed in.
The first time
Section titled “The first time”- Your campus account is created automatically with the name and email of your GitHub or Google account.
- You may receive a confirmation email. Open it and click the link to activate the account.
- With GitHub, make sure you have a public or verified email in your GitHub profile. If GitHub shares no email, the campus cannot create the account.
- Don't have a GitHub account yet? Follow the signup guide.
Can I sign in with GitHub one day and Google the next? Only if both accounts use the same email; in that case the campus recognises them as the same person. If the emails differ, two separate accounts are created.
I already had a username-and-password account. What if I sign in with Google? If the Google email matches your account's email, the campus links them and you keep your progress. If it does not match, a new account is created. Contact us if you need them merged.
What permissions does it ask for? Read-only access to your basic profile and email. It cannot write to your GitHub or read your Google mail.
